Art-1 is an introductory art class for beginners.
This course introduces the elements and principles of design through an exploration of a broad range of media. Each element is a unit with activities emphasizing skills and techniques in the following areas: drawing, painting, ceramics, art history, and three-dimensional design. Art 1 is a prerequisite for all upper level art classes.
